News...

Derek-Man turned 6! His first choice for a party was Indiana Jones, but we couldn't find much at the party stores, so he chose a Wal-E party, which was funny to me since at the time, he had never seen the movie:) It was lots of fun, and for the first time in years, I ordered the cake. I've just been to tired to do a whole lot lately. Last year I made Camille a lady bug cake, it turned out really cute, but it took me forever to make it.

Caleb, Derek & McKoy
The kids made their own robots and they loved it! They were very creative, no two were alike:)

Camille and Derek started school last Monday! They are both doing well and liking their teachers. Camille has her first male teacher and he has been teaching for at least 20 years (I gather this from his picture on the "get to know me" board, in the picture, he had thick brown hair, and now it is gray-observant eh?), she says that he is the best 3rd grade teacher at the school, I'm glad that she likes him. Derek tells me that he has show and tell everyday and he wants to take his hamster. I wouldn't be surprised if I get a call telling me that I need to go get his rodent from the school, he's a little sneaky. Camille picked out some 'skechers lights' shoes, then a girl in her class told her that she doesn't wear shoes that light up anymore because it reminds her of kindergarten! I hope that Camille doesn't let it keep her from wearing her shoes, she has two new pair of school shoes and she wore the ones that do not light up today.

Why am I so tired you might ask? Well...it took about 17 tests to convince us that it was true (the first 7 were neg), but we are expecting a baby! I have my first appointment tomorrow, but it looks like I am due about March 27. Kaylee will be 2 years in April. I am excited and very overwhelmed at the same time:)

The party looks like it was lots of fun. I think that the pirate ship cake you did a few years back counts for at least 2 or 3 home made birthday cakes:)

The kids look so cute. I know they are growing up just as fast as my kids, but it just seems too fast!

The friends waiting for the bus was just awesome!

Stacy hope you don't mind that I read your blog on Jer and Becks. When you were telling about all the things that happened to you just a while ago, I see why now that you mention the positive test:-) Congrats! I'm holding my breath because you and Rebecca seem to do things together when it comes to kids.

Congratulations!! No wonder you were too tired to make the cake. Welcome to the 5 kid club. It's exhausting, but well worth it!

I LOVE IT! Congratulations on the anticipated arrival of BABY #5! Stacey you are my hero! I've always thought 5 kids would be great, but after little Luke we'll be lucky to make 4. Any words of inspiration from the pros? You really are a great mom and if anybody can do it, it's YOU for sure!

We love you guys and miss you too!

Love,
